Reaching people who reach people.

The Talleys.

We met each other at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and married in 2004.  After serving almost 8 years as an officer in the United States Air Force, God led us to serve as the Teaching Pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia.

While overseeing a campus, Michael earned his MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently earning his Doctorate in Leadership. His time serving as Teaching Pastor has provided great opportunities for leadership, teaching and disciple making.

We have four wonderful kids, Quincey, Ace, Bowen and our newest addition, Lennon. We love spending time together as a family camping, having movie nights or doing just about anything as long as we are together.

Dale has also gained valuable experience as we moved numerous times while in the military and has been a key partner to Michael in their ministry. She now helps lead their home as she is raising four great children.  Her wisdom and thoughtfulness have proven to be a source of strength to both Michael and women throughout the church.

For a few years we felt God calling us to Denver to play a part in reaching the city with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  In 2018 we moved, along with four other families, to a suburb of Denver to answer the calling God has placed on our lives.

We have spent the past two years building relationships in and with our community and we are excited about the future. Even though there is much uncertainty going on in the world we have peace knowing God is in control of building His church.

"Michael is a great leader and passionate preacher of the the Gospel. Our church is thrilled to be getting behind him as he plants in Denver. I believe he is going to be a 5-star leader in this great city."

The Wilkersons.

Brian and Katie met in primary school and built a friendship that turned into a happy marriage at a young age. They now have three amazing boys, Carter, Abram and Bo. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, they moved back to their hometown of Warner Robins. Brian went to work for the family business his dad started in 1987 and Katie followed in her parent’s footsteps as a teacher. They joined Southside Baptist Church in 2011 where they joined a small group, and that is where they first met the Talleys.

Over the next 6 years, they built their lives in Warner Robins. Brian began taking over his dad’s business, and Katie was between teaching and staying home to help raise the kids. They started building their dream home in 2017, and that is when they felt a conviction to go help the Talleys spread the gospel in Denver. After months of prayer and consideration, the decision was made to move. Brian and his dad decided to sell the family business.

In 2019, they moved to Thornton, Colorado. Katie has been able to use her experience in education to focus on kids ministry, and Brian has used his business experience to help with the operational side of the church. They are excited about the future of the church plant and even in these unprecedented times that have brought much uncertainty, they can see God working and are trusting in His plan for the church.

The Wilkerson family enjoys staying active in all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer together. They all have been able to learn to ski, and Carter loves to snowboard! They enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, crossfit, and taking their Georgia family and friends to the mountains.

The Caums.

Both growing up in the middle Georgia area, Joe and Ashley met and began dating in high school. Throughout college, they both served in student ministry at Southside Baptist Church, in Warner Robins. Ashley served as a volunteer, while Joe came on staff part-time in the middle school ministry.

It was at Southside that Joe and Ashley first crossed paths with the Talley’s and began a friendship.

After Joe graduated from Liberty University in 2013, he and Ashley got married and began serving together as a couple at Southside. Joe became a full-time middle school pastor while Ashley worked in the front office. God quickly blessed them with two kids, Jogie Mae and Collier.

In 2018 Joe and Ashley felt called to be a part of what God was doing with the Talley’s in Colorado. After months of prayer, they packed up everything they had and moved to Colorado. Since moving, God has blessed Joe and Ashley with one more child, sweet little Shiloh.

The Caums love being outdoors, going into the mountains, and spending time as a family.

The Caum’s have been involved in student ministry at a local church and are excited about this next chapter in their journey as they join the team full-time helping to plant Church 8025.

Our Core Values.

These are the filters through which we achieve our mission, strategy and vision.

Love.png

Uncommon Love.

We want to love people the way Jesus loved people.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

John 13:34

Community.png

Compelling Community.

We want to experience life together.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

Evangelism.png

Relational Evangelism.

We want to build relationships in order to build trust.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”

Romans 1:16

Discipleship.png

Radical Discipleship.

We want to live life devoted to something greater than ourselves.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Global.png

Global Gospel.

We want to invest in people on our street and around the world.

“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.”

Psalm 96:3

Generosity.png

Extreme Generosity.

We want to give in a way that doesn’t make sense.

“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”

1 Timothy 6:18
